This template will normalate a Jot Title -> Job Level. There are several pre-existing rules and categories for you to use or modify.

Step 1.

Create a test data set to help you create your rules; for example using a spreadsheet. Ensure you have the following columns in your spreadsheet:

• Jot Title  – the one you want to normalate.
• Lob Level Column or Category field – the target field
• Reference Column ID field – a unique reference for each row in your spreadsheet

Step 2.

Create a new normalator and choose the Job Level template.

Import your test data set choosing the Source Field, Target and Reference fields.

You can also create your set of normalated categories when you create your normalator.

Step 3.

Use the Normalator screen to highlight (click and hold your mouse button) the key words or phrases and create your categories.
